Find your concern

You don’t need to know its medical name.

You may have searched sexologist in Ludhiana, or piles doctor near me, or simply pet ki gas ka ilaj. All three arrive at the same desk. Dr. D.K. Sharma consults across men’s intimate health, piles and anorectal care, digestion, women’s wellness and skin — so start with whichever card feels closest. Each page explains what the concern can mean, when a consultation helps, and how a private conversation begins. Booking is always your choice.

Not sure where you fit? Message us privately — describe it in your own words. Punjabi is fine, and so are everyday words like bawasir, gupt rog or pet ki gas. If you’d prefer a lady doctor for a piles or women’s consultation, say so in your first message and it will be arranged.

Our approach

No overnight promises.
No “Ayurveda fixes everything” talk.

We understand the concern first, then say honestly what makes sense next — including when investigation, hospital care or a different kind of doctor should come before us.

After you message

The first step can be one sentence.

Everything after it is simple — and you’re never left to figure it out alone.

  1. Tell us what’s going on

A line in your own words — Punjabi, Hindi or English. Reception reads it privately and guides the next step.

  2. Sit with the doctor

In clinic or on video. Dr. Sharma listens, examines where needed, and explains it in plain words.

  3. Leave with a clear next step

Food, routine and treatment where appropriate — with a follow-up date, not guesswork.

Where a guided course fits, reception checks in regularly — so the plan can adjust as your body responds.

What care may include

A plan built around the person,
not only the complaint.

Not everyone needs medicine. A plan may combine treatment with food and daily-routine guidance written for your actual kitchen and workday — and it is reviewed, not handed over.

How long care runs varies with the case. That is discussed openly at consultation, before anything begins — never sold beforehand.

Medicines are advised only when appropriate — and if you’d be better off with a different kind of doctor, we say so.

The working principle at this desk since 1965.
  1. ConsultationHistory, routine, reports — and examination where it’s needed.
  2. First reviewTolerance and early response, before anything is locked in.
  3. Doctor-guided adjustmentFood, routine and doses revised as your body responds.
  4. Continue, pause, investigate or referWhatever the case honestly needs next.
When medicine is advised, this is what it looks like
  • Churna powderGround herbs taken with warm water, milk or honey, usually around meals.
  • Vati tabletThe easiest form to carry and to keep to when the day is unpredictable.
  • Kwath decoctionHerbs simmered down and taken warm, where a stronger action is wanted.
  • Taila & lepa oil & pasteApplied rather than swallowed — used often in piles, skin and joint care.

Classical Ayurvedic preparations, dispensed against a written plan. Which form suits you, at what dose and for how long, is decided at consultation — not from a page.

Old language.
Everyday body.

Vata, Pitta and Kapha are not personality badges or quiz results. They are observation lenses — a traditional way of noticing patterns in movement, heat, stability, digestion, sleep and recovery. At consultation they become practical questions about the life your body actually lives. Nothing here diagnoses you.

Vata · movement

When the body feels variable or unsettled.

Appetite that comes and goes. Bowels that change pattern from week to week. Dryness, broken sleep, energy that rises and drops without warning. These signs don’t announce a “Vata disease” — they tell the doctor that the useful question is about change itself: what shifts, when, and around what.

The doctor may ask

What changes, when does it change — and what brings steadiness back?

Why it matters: this can shape meal timing, sleep timing, and how gradually a plan is introduced — steadiness first, ambition later.

These observations are weighed together with your history, current symptoms, medicines, routine and examination where needed — at consultation, not from a webpage.

See how consultation works
Pathya · the practical half
  • Warm before rawTemperature reaches agni sooner than anything you swallow for it.
  • The same hour, most daysA meal that arrives on time teaches the body to expect it.
  • Let one meal finishHeaviness usually begins where two meals overlap.

General regimen, not a prescription. What suits you is decided at consultation, against your kitchen and your timings.

Meet the doctor behind BharatClinic

Dr. D.K. Sharma, BAMS — an Ayurvedic doctor, sexologist and piles specialist in Ludhiana, carrying a khandani line of practice since 1965 — leads every consultation himself. Men come to him for gupt rog, shighrapatan and mardana kamzori; others for bawasir, fissure, acidity, skin or a women’s concern. He looks at your routine, digestion, sleep, stress, your reports and what you’ve already tried — then tells you what he thinks is going on, in plain words.

Our story · Since 1965

1965The seed is planted

Three generations. One line of care.

  1. 1965 — Shri Kuldeep Raj SharmaA practice begins in Ludhiana.
  2. 1996 — Dr. D.K. Sharma, BAMSThe practice grows into the clinic.
  3. Today — the next generationLearning the clinic, its history, and the responsibility of carrying it forward.

In Ludhiana they’d call it khandani Ayurveda — a practice handed down, name to name, since 1965. Three generations of the same family have sat at this desk hearing the same quiet questions: about gupt rog, about bawasir, about a stomach that won’t settle. The city changed around this clinic. The way a patient is heard here hasn’t.

The word itself Khandani · ਖ਼ਾਨਦਾਨੀ

“Of the family.” In Ludhiana it is said about a shop, a recipe or a clinic that has never changed hands outside the family — and it carries an obligation, not only a boast. Khandani Ayurveda means the patients came with the practice.

Inside the clinic

Drawn from the rooms most patients pass through. Photographs will replace these once every person in frame has consented.

The consulting desk

Nadi pariksha, then questions

The pulse is read at the wrist before anything is written. Then the slower part — sleep, appetite, digestion, stress, what you have already tried.

The dispensary

Classical medicines, weighed here

Churnas, vatis, guggulus and asavas kept in the shop and dispensed against the day's prescription — with the pathya, the diet that has to go with them.

Reception & waiting

Private, and called by turn

Gupt rog and piles patients are seen behind a closed door. Nothing about your visit is discussed at the counter, and no condition is written on anything you carry out.

Illustrations, not photographs. We would rather draw the rooms honestly than publish a stock photo of somebody else's clinic.

Before you message

Common questions

Is the consultation private?

Yes. Your first message goes to the clinic team only, and your concern is discussed one-to-one with the doctor. Nothing is shared outside the clinic.

Do I pay before messaging?

No. Messaging is free. The ₹500 consultation fee applies only once we confirm a consultation is suitable for your concern.

Can I consult online?

Yes. Start on WhatsApp and tell us you need an online consultation. The clinic confirms a suitable time for a video consultation, including across time zones.

I have a private men’s concern — how is it handled?

These things are kept private and talked about normally — no awkwardness, no lecture. Whatever word you use for it is fine; the doctor is interested in the whole picture, not the label.

How long will treatment go on?

It depends on the case — honestly. Duration is discussed openly at consultation before anything begins, reviewed as you respond, and never sold as a fixed package.

When should I visit the clinic instead?

Severe pain, bleeding, urgent or fast-worsening symptoms, or anything needing physical examination should be seen in person — or by emergency care first.

What are the clinic timings?

Both Ludhiana clinics are open daily, 8:30am–8:00pm. If you’re unsure which is closer, message us and we’ll guide you.

Do you have a sexologist in Ludhiana?

Yes. Dr. D.K. Sharma, BAMS, consults as an Ayurvedic sexologist in Ludhiana — men’s intimate health is a regular, established part of this practice, not a side note. Concerns like gupt rog, shighrapatan, mardana kamzori, nightfall and dhat are heard privately, respectfully and without awkwardness. Both clinics are in Ludhiana; video consultation is available if you would rather not walk in.

Who is the best sexologist in Ludhiana?

That is a decision only you can make, so here is our case, plainly. BharatClinic has been a khandani Ayurvedic practice since 1965, now in its third generation. Every men’s consultation is taken by Dr. D.K. Sharma himself — BAMS-qualified, consulting in Punjabi, Hindi or English. Nothing is dispensed before the concern is properly understood, the ₹500 fee applies only after suitability is confirmed, and no one is sold a package on the first visit. Compare any clinic in Ludhiana on those four points. We are comfortable being judged on them.

Which men’s problems does the doctor consult on?

Shighrapatan (early discharge), erection concerns, mardana kamzori and low stamina, nightfall and swapandosh, dhat-related worry, low desire, and general gupt rog questions men are reluctant to raise elsewhere. A great many men arrive convinced something is seriously wrong and leave having learned it is common and manageable. Where a concern needs investigation or a different specialist, you will be told that directly.

Are you a piles specialist in Ludhiana?

Yes. Piles and anorectal care is one of BharatClinic’s core areas — piles (bawasir), khuni bawasir, anal fissure, rectal bleeding, and the constipation that so often sits underneath them. Care here is Ayurvedic and non-surgical: examination first, then food, routine and medicines suited to your case. BharatClinic does not perform surgery, laser or Ksharasutra procedures. If examination suggests a surgical opinion is genuinely needed, we say so plainly and help you find one.

Is a lady doctor available for piles or women’s consultations?

Yes — a female doctor is available by arrangement for piles, anorectal and women’s consultations. Many women put off a piles or fissure consultation for years for exactly this reason, and it is a fair thing to ask for. Mention it in your first WhatsApp message or when you call, and the clinic will schedule your appointment accordingly. Please give a little notice, as this is arranged rather than walk-in.

Can piles (bawasir) be treated without surgery?

Ayurvedic piles care is non-surgical by nature — food, routine and medicines where appropriate. Many early and moderate cases respond well to conservative care, and whether yours will is assessed honestly at consultation rather than promised in advance. Advanced or complicated cases sometimes do need a surgical opinion, and you will be told that plainly instead of being kept on treatment that isn’t working.

I’m seeing blood when I pass motion — is that piles?

It often is — khuni bawasir and anal fissure are the two commonest causes, and both are treatable. But rectal bleeding can also come from other conditions, and it is not something to self-diagnose from a search result. Get it examined. If the pattern of bleeding suggests anything beyond piles or fissure, we will refer you for the right investigation without delay.

Do you treat acidity, gas and IBS?

Yes — acidity and acid reflux, pet ki gas and bloating, constipation, and loose motions or IBS patterns are among the most frequent reasons people consult here. Ayurveda treats digestion as the starting point of a great deal else, so this is often where a longer-standing complaint is actually resolved. Expect a realistic roadmap and clear diet guidance, not a permanent-cure promise.

Can Ayurveda help skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis?

Ayurveda approaches recurring skin conditions — acne, eczema, psoriasis, khujli, hair fall — through digestion, routine and triggers as well as the skin itself. Flare-ups can often be reduced and spaced further apart, and many patients manage their skin far better than they expected. Anyone promising a permanent cure is overselling. What is realistic for your skin is discussed honestly at consultation.

Do you consult on irregular periods, white discharge or PCOS?

Yes. Irregular periods, white discharge, PCOS and PCOD, and the fatigue and skin changes that travel with them are consulted on regularly. A female doctor can be arranged if you would prefer one — just say so when you message. Where a scan or blood work is needed before anything is prescribed, you will be told.

Care beyond the clinic door

Distance changes the route —
not the attention.

Both pathways begin privately, and neither asks you to pay before suitability is checked.

Honest suitability: severe pain, heavy bleeding, urgent or fast-worsening symptoms, and anything needing physical examination may require local emergency care or an in-clinic visit.
